InsurBankheadquartered in Farmington, Connecticut, under the name Lou Garcia as President and CEO.
Garcia brings more than 25 years of leadership experience in investment banking, alternative asset management and financial services to his new role at InsurBanc. He will be responsible for the strategic direction of the bank and its initiatives to provide innovative financial solutions serving the independent insurance agency community.
Garcia was a vice president at Donaldson, Lufkin and Jenrette, which was acquired by Credit Suisse in 2000, and a vice president at J.H. Whitney & Co., one of the nation’s oldest private investment firms. He was also a partner and chief operating officer of Addison Clark Management before becoming managing director of CBAM Partners.
David Tralkaformer president and CEO, took on the role of chairman of the bank.
InsurBanc, a division of Connecticut Community Bank, has been providing banking services to the independent agent community since 2001.
